Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG), Kaiser Permanente, is seeking a Physician Assistant - General Surgery to support the acute care surgery service at Emory St. Joseph and Emory Decatur hospitals in Georgia.

The role covers rounding on the acute care service, assisting surgeons in the OR (open, laparoscopic, robotic), and evaluating new consults and admissions. Schedule runs 8 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• PA with experience in general surgery preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
• Team player with willingness to learn and commitment to quality patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on the acute care surgery service.
• Assisting surgeons in the operating room (open, laparoscopic, robotic).
• Seeing new consults and admissions.
• Limited clinic responsibilities.
