Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) Kaiser Permanente is hiring a Physician Assistant - General Surgery to support acute care surgery at Emory St. Joseph and Emory Decatur hospitals.

The role includes rounding on the service, assisting surgeons in the OR (open, laparoscopic, robotic), and evaluating new consults and admissions with limited clinic time. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekend per month; compensatory time off or pay will be offered for

Qualifications

• PA with general surgery experience preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Team player with commitment to quality patient-centered care.

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group, (TSPMG) Kaiser Permanente is happy to announce an opening for Physician Assistant - General Surgery.

• This position will mainly assist with the Kaiser acute care general surgery service at Emory St. Joseph hospital and Emory Decatur hospital.

• This includes rounding on the acute care surgery service, assisting with surgeons in the operating room (open, laparoscopic, robotic), seeing new consults and admissions.

• The hours are from 8 am to 5pm Monday through Friday. With one weekend covered a month. Compensatory time off or pay will be offered for the weekend covered.

• Limited clinic responsibilities.

• Preferences: PA with experience in general surgery preferred, but willing to train the right candidate, experience with EPIC EMR, team player, willingness to learn and committed to quality patient centered-care
