Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) seeks a Physician Assistant - General Surgery to support the acute care surgery service at Emory St. Joseph and Emory Decatur hospitals.

The role includes rounding on the surgical service and assisting surgeons in open, laparoscopic, and robotic cases. Occasional clinic duties are limited; schedule is 8 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday, with one weekend per month and compensatory time off or pay.

Qualifications

• PA with experience in general surgery preferred (but training available)
• Experience with EPIC EMR

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) Kaiser Permanente is happy to announce an opening for Physician Assistant - General Surgery.

• This position will mainly assist with the Kaiser acute care general surgery service at Emory St. Joseph hospital and Emory Decatur hospital.
• This includes rounding on the acute care surgery service, assisting with surgeons in the operating room (open, laparoscopic, robotic), seeing new consults and admissions.
• The hours are from 8 am to 5pm Monday through Friday. With one weekend covered a month. Compensatory time off or pay will be offered for the weekend covered.
• Limited clinic responsibilities.
• Preferences: PA with experience in general surgery preferred, but willing to train the right candidate, experience with EPIC EMR, team player, willingness to learn and committed to quality patient centered-care
