Job summary

Centra Health is seeking a Hospital-based Advanced Practice Provider to join a General Surgery team across Bedford Memorial Hospital and Lynchburg General Hospital. The role includes managing new and established visits, inpatient rounds, and perioperative patient care.

You will collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and a wide range of specialists in a fast-paced setting, with opportunities in the operating room and clinic. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold national PA certification and Virginia licensure (or be willing to obtain).
• Experience collaborating with physicians and multi-disciplinary teams preferred.
• New graduates welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with APPs, surgeons, and other specialties.
• Document using Cerner EMR for patient records.
• Assist in operating room when needed and manage post-op care.
