Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join a team in an ambulatory setting. You will collaborate with physicians specializing in General Surgery, Hernia Disease and Foregut procedures, providing patient management from new consultations to post-op follow-ups.

In-office procedures and complex wound care are part of the role, with care at our Manchester, CT offices. You will participate in quality initiatives and work within a supportive, team-based care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / APRN in the state of Connecticut.
• Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant, or National Board Certification as an APRN.
• Previous surgical experience in plastics, general, or colorectal surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage new patient consults and post-operative follow-ups.
• In-office procedures including incision and drainage and complex wound care.
• Care at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group offices in Manchester, CT.
• Assist with system quality initiatives.
