Bayview Physicians Group, one of Virginia's largest independent, multi-specialty, physician-led groups, seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join a team specializing in oncologic, breast, GI, and trauma surgery in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Opportunities span Southeast Virginia including Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and Suffolk, with a competitive salary range of $400,000–$500,000 plus incentives, comprehensive benefits, sign-on, relocation, and tail

In this Role:

As a General Surgeon with Bayview Physicians Group, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient and outpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of general surgical conditions

• Perform preoperative evaluations, elective and emergency surgical procedures, and postoperative care

• Order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and diagnostic test to guide treatment

• Consult patients and provide follow-up, wound management, and surgical care
