Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, Wisconsin, seeks a General Surgeon to join a collaborative team. The role includes a varied case mix in general surgery and trauma, with a balanced schedule and a 1:4 on-call rotation.

You’ll practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supported by a strong referral network and comprehensive resources. Ascension offers a $30,000 sign-on bonus, a $10,000 relocation allowance, CME support, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• DO/MD degree in medicine required.

This role offers an outstanding opportunity for a motivated General Surgeon to step into a thriving, well-respected practice backed by a strong physician referral network and the comprehensive resources of Ascension All Saints Hospital.

• Varied case mix spanning general surgery and trauma cases.
• Balanced schedule: 36 clinical/surgical hours plus 4 administrative hours weekly.
• Manageable call coverage rotation of 1:4.
• Collaborative environment alongside 4 Surgeons and 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APCs).
• Primary location at Ascension All Saints Hospital.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care through comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic expertise, and state-of-the-art treatments.
• Deliver seamless clinical care across inpatient and outpatient settings, partnering with case management to ensure smooth care transitions and discharge planning.
• Drive clinical excellence by participating in quality improvement and cost-effectiveness initiatives that elevate patient outcomes.
• Foster strong relationships with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams to maintain seamless care continuity for hospitalized patients.
• Maintain timely, thorough, and compliant documentation to support efficient practice operations and high standards of medical record keeping.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• Physician MD/DO obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Preferred Credential(s)

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
