As a General Supply Specialist with the United States Park Police (USPP), you will be accountable for the management, control and inventory of all property, uniforms, and equipment.
The major duties of the General Supply Specialist include, but are not limited, the following: Accountable for the management, control and inventory of all property, uniforms, and equipment assigned to the Force in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Responsible for the procurement needs for those areas in order to provide the cost savings of bulk purchase, and to ensure standardization throughout the Force. Continually reviews the property management procedures employed by the Force and makes recommendations for improvements. Coordinates business accounts for law enforcement equipment between the Property Section, the Force, and the National Park Service. Responsible for the receipt, inspection, care and safeguarding of all personal property and evidence received at the Property Office.
