Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations from our Phoenix, AZ office. You will supervise open-shop crews, supervise superintendents and foremen, and drive projects involving concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural strengthening in commercial and industrial settings.

The role requires strong English communication, extensive construction knowledge, and a track record of managing multiple projects with budget and safety in focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field or significant equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in general construction with at least 5 years in field management at Superintendent level or above.
• Experience in concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control, façade restoration a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, coordinate and execute project work in a timely manner within budget while maintaining a safe workplace.
• Participate in pre-project and pre-task planning and disseminate details to field teams.
• Oversee construction activity, safety, means and methods, and productivity for assigned projects.
• Provide training and mentoring to field managers to aid in growth.
• Assist teams in monthly progress reports, payment applications, and cost reports.
• Interview and hire new field employees; uphold STRUCTURAL’s Safety 24/7 culture.
