Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a General Superintendent to join the Dallas, TX team, overseeing field operations for concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing and structural strengthening on commercial and industrial projects.

You will lead open-shop crews, foremen, and other superintendents, coordinate with Project Managers, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence while developing look-ahead plans and managing multiple projects (3–8) concurrently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field may be preferred.
• 12+ years of general construction experience with at least 5 years in field management at a Foreman or Assistant Superintendent level or above.
• Prior experience in general repair projects including concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control, and façade restoration.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously (3–8) and reading/interpreting construction drawings and specs.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to oversee field operations and develop look-ahead schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level field management to Superintendents, Foremen and open-shop crews.
• Participate in pre-project planning and disseminate details to field teams.
• Motivate and coordinate team members and allocate work based on materials and worker requirements.
• Ensure proper use of tools and equipment and enforce safety practices.
• Provide training and assistance to field managers and crews on task performance.
• Assist Project Managers in evaluating production rates and scheduling.Look ahead schedules and construction documents.
