Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a General Superintendent for the New England team based in Boston. The role leads field operations, guiding Superintendents and foremen on concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural strengthening projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in general construction with 5+ years in field management, with strong reading of drawings, ability to run multiple projects, and a commitment to Safety 24/7. Bachelor’s preferred; high school required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred in construction management.
• 10+ years in general construction with 5+ years in field management at Foreman/Asst Superintendent level.
• Experience with concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, facade restoration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (3–8 depending on size).
• Strong reading of construction drawings and contract specs; able to resolve discrepancies.
• Committed to safety and to STRUCTURAL's Safety 24/7 culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level field management to Superintendents, Foremen and open shop crews.
• Participate in pre-project planning and disseminate to field teams.
• Motivate crews and coordinate activities with other project teams.
• Ensure crews operate tools and equipment safely and productively.
• Provide training and assistance to field managers and crews.
