Job summary

RAM Construction in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee tenant improvements and ground‑up projects. You will manage multiple sites, coordinate schedules, ensure safety and quality, and communicate with inspectors, subcontractors, and the project team to keep work on track.

The role requires 8–10+ years in commercial construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam. A proactive, detail‑driven manager will thrive in this fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience supervising commercial construction projects
• Proven background in tenant improvements
• Proficient in reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• OSHA experience/certification
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and vendors to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all field activities on multiple job sites, monitoring progress and assisting in future planning.
• Oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality control for all construction work.
• Maintain effective communication with the project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals.
• Ensure each subcontractor is fully executing and complying with contracted scope of work.
• Coordinate and schedule required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Identify and address subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
• Maintain daily logs in Procore of site activities.
• Preside over weekly subcontractor and safety meetings to coordinate the work efficiently.

JobDescription:

Requirements:

• 8-10+yearsofexperiencesupervisingcommercialconstructionprojectsasaSeniorSuperintendentorGeneralSuperintendentforaGeneralContractor.
• Provenbackgroundintenantimprovements.
• Proficiencyinrunningmultiplejobsitesconcurrently.
• StrongexperienceworkinginLosAngelesandOrangeCountymunicipalities,specificallyinterfacingwithbuildinginspectorsandcodeenforcementofficers.
• Excellentproficiencyinreadingarchitectural,structural,andMEPconstructiondrawings.
• Abilitytoscheduleandcoordinatesubcontractors,consultants,andvendorsinthecriticalpathtoensuretimelyprojectcompletion.
• ProficiencywithMicrosoftProjectandschedulingsoftware.
