Job summary

ONCORE Construction Consulting Group seeks a General Superintendent (travel up to 75%) to oversee data-center construction programs from site to closeout. The role requires heavy MEP background, strong leadership, and the ability to manage teams across multiple projects with strict schedules.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years as a Superintendent at a GC, plus 2+ years leading several projects simultaneously, and a track record delivering $100M-$500M initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and manage daily construction activities.
• Lead and coordinate other Superintendents on multiple projects.
• Collaborate with project management, engineers, subcontractors, and owners.
• Meet milestones through planning and deadlines.
• Track progress and ensure safe, successful completion.
• Maintain open communication with the project management team.
• Act as site leader and resource for the project team.
• Supervise staff and provide construction feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.

General Superintendent (travel required up to 75%) - Data Center

The General Superintendent will coordinate and manage all phases of various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects valued up to $500M. Recent Data Center experience preferred, and a heavy MEP background is a MUST. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage people and projects professionally, efficiently, accurately, and on schedule. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS info below.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in a Superintendent capacity with a GC firm
• 2+ years of "Lead" experience, running multiple projects at one time
• Prior experience running $100M to $500M in project value
• Travel required (work is 75% onsite & 25% from home office)

Responsibilities:

• Schedule, coordinate, and manage daily construction activities.
• Manage & lead other Superintendents on different projects.
• Collaborate with project management staff, engineers, subcontractors, and owners.
• Achieve project milestones through appropriate planning, goals, and deadlines.
• Track project progress and implement measures for safe and successful completion of work.
• Communicate with all stakeholders; maintain open lines of communication with the rest of the project management team to effectively address issues and prevent problems.
• Act as a site leader and resource for the project team.
• Supervise staff and provide construction feedback.
• Maintain compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.
