Job summary

ONCORE CCG is seeking a General Superintendent to provide overall field coordination and management for data center construction projects in Texas. The role requires guiding large-scale projects up to $500M and leading teams of superintendents, with emphasis on safety, schedule, and quality.

Travel will be 75% onsite and 25% from a home office, with close communication to VP and executives. The ideal candidate has 10+ years as a superintendent for GC firms, 2+ years in lead roles, and proven

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a Superintendent capacity with a GC firm.
• 2+ years of Lead experience, running multiple projects at one time.
• Prior experience running $100M to $500M in project value.
• Travel required (work is 75% onsite & 25% from home office).
• Bachelor's Degree (highly preferred).
• Prior Data Center build exp.
• Strong MEP background.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate and manage daily construction activities.
• Manage & lead other Superintendents on different projects.
• Collaborate with project management staff, engineers, subcontractors, and owners.
• Achieve project milestones through appropriate planning, goals, and deadlines.
• Track project progress and implement measures for safe and successful completion of work.
• Communicate with all stakeholders; maintain open lines of communication with the rest of the project management team to effectively address issues and prevent problems.
• Act as a site leader and resource for the project team.
• Supervise staff and provide construction feedback.
• Lead across subcontractor groups.
• Maintain compliance of safety, health, and quality standards.

Candidate should will have experience managing up to $500M in project values at any time. Candidate should have recent Data Center construction experience and heavy MEP background. Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage people and projects professionally, efficiently, accurately and on schedule. Able to keep projects running onsite while keeping VP & Executive level management informed and up to date.
