Job description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either ground up multifamily projects or schools, including renovations. This is a senior field leadership position requiring someone who can effectively oversee 3-4 projects simultaneously, manage multiple field teams, and ensure each project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

The role will primarily be based in Miami, with travel to Orlando when required to support project teams and provide senior field leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee 3–4 active construction projects simultaneously, providing leadership and direction to project Superintendents and field teams.
• Provide overall field leadership from project mobilization through completion and closeout.
• Oversee either ground-up multifamily construction or school construction and renovation projects.
• Coordinate and manage Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and other field personnel.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, sequencing, logistics, and manpower requirements.
• Monitor progress across multiple projects and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Conduct regular site visits and project reviews to identify potential issues before they impact schedule, cost, or quality.
• Ensure all work is being performed safely and in accordance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and project specifications.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to identify potential issues and coordinate solutions.
• Work closely with Project Managers and senior leadership to maintain strong communication throughout each project.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, coordination, quality control, and adherence to project schedules.
• Assist with resolving field issues, scheduling conflicts, and construction challenges.
• Ensure projects maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding project progress, challenges, staffing, and overall performance.
• Travel to Orlando as needed to support and oversee projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of construction experience, with significant experience in a Superintendent or General Superintendent capacity.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ideally 3–4 projects at a time.
• Strong experience with either:
• Ground-up multifamily construction, or School/K-12 construction, including renovations.
• Previous experience leading Superintendents and larger field teams.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, site logistics, and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety, quality control, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel between projects and provide hands‑on leadership when required.
• Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction software experience is preferred.
• Construction‑related degree is preferred but not required.
