Job Summary

Performs all automotive tire repairs, changes, balancing, rotations and TPMS procedures oil changes and light mechanical work.

Responsibilities

• Reviews repair order requests and makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service and automotive requirements and materials needed
• Performs tire replacement or minor maintenance services and oil changes 
• Installs valve stem and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required. Mounts tire on wheel assembly and inflates tires as required
• Test tire balances to ensure proper weight placement
• Reviews service with sales staff
• Complies with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy.

Desired Qualifications

Will train as needed.

• Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specifications
  • Knowledge of tire requirements to include use of wheel balancers, tire specifications, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and some drivability diagnostic experience.
