Job Summary

Performs all automotive tire repairs, changes, balancing, rotations, TPMS procedures, oil changes, and light mechanical work.

Responsibilities

• Reviews repair order requests and makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service and automotive requirements and materials needed.
• Performs tire replacement or minor maintenance services and oil changes.
• Installs valve stem and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required. Mounts tire on wheel assembly and inflates tires as required.
• Tests tire balances to ensure proper weight placement.
• Reviews service with sales staff.
• Complies with Company Quality Control Program and Company Safety Policy.

Desired Qualifications

• Will train as needed.
• Preferred Experience:
• Familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specifications.
• Knowledge of tire requirements to include use of wheel balancers, tire specifications, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems, and some drivability diagnostic experience.
• Willing to train.
