Job Description:
The General Service Technician role is full-time or part-time, hourly, and responsible for routine vehicle repairs and maintenance, delivering 5-star guest service through effective communication and quality work.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing basic vehicle services and repairs according to standards.
• Executing tire services such as removal, balancing, patching, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
• Conducting vehicle services like oil changes, lubrication, and basic maintenance.
• Completing Courtesy Inspections and communicating additional service needs.
• Assisting with inventory management and store duties to maintain cleanliness and readiness.
• Adhering to safety standards and operating all equipment safely.
• Performing test drives and complying with policies and regulations.
• Maintaining technical knowledge through training and certifications.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Profile Summary:

• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training or experience.
• Valid driver’s license and good MVR.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
