Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care NC is seeking an entry-level General Service Technician to join our team. You’ll handle basic automotive services, support other technicians, and communicate service recommendations to customers in a fast-paced, customer-focused shop.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of automotive experience or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license or ID is required
• State inspection license preferred or ability to obtain
• Customer-focused with willingness to learn new skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work Mon–Sat with one day off

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services: oil changes, tire maintenance, vehicle inspections, brakes, and related tasks.
• Assist other technicians and learn advanced skills.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain recommended services.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.

Job description

Hourly: Full or Part Time

Entry level lube tech: $14 - $16 per hour with commission

GST: $17 - 19 (1 year of experience) with commission

You will earn more with more experience & an inspection license!

GST with 2 years of experience: $19 + per hour with commission

• Ability to work Mon. - Sat. with a day off (5 days)

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50-80 lbs, stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Work indoors or outdoors in varying conditions.
