Compensation

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 to $21.02, with potential additional incentives based on experience.

About The Role

The General Service Technician is a full-time or part-time hourly position responsible for performing routine vehicle repairs and maintenance according to company standards and manufacturer specifications. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional service, effective communication, and meeting guest expectations for quality and time.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct tire services including removal, balancing, patching, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
• Perform vehicle services such as oil changes, lubrications, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle, identifying and communicating additional service needs.
• Assist with inventory management and store duties, maintaining cleanliness and readiness.
• Adhere to safety standards and perform test drives according to policy.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training or experience in basic car maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

• Proactive problem solver with strong customer service skills.
• Effective communicator, both verbal and written.
