Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, has an opportunity for a General Service Technician. The technician performs entry-level vehicle maintenance repairs and services on customer vehicles, delivering high-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include working with store management to meet productivity, profitability, and customer service standards, while adhering to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair passenger and light truck tires correctly.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars properly.
• Conduct and document vehicle safety inspections accurately.
• Perform unsupervised vehicle maintenance repairs such as replacing headlights, fan belts, batteries, and wiper blades.
• Collaborate with store management to meet operational standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of waste properly.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Customer service focus in a retail environment.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Basic conflict resolution skills.
• Basic understanding of the automotive tire and service industry.
