#1 Cochran Hyundai Monroeville is actively seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to lead a high-volume showroom and drive revenue through our EXPRESSWAY omnichannel sales process, while maintaining a strong focus on outstanding customer care.

The ideal candidate will mentor a talented sales team, optimize digital commerce workflows, and sustain productive relationships with vendors and partners, all within our award-winning workplace that values growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience managing dealership sales operations.
• Interest in training/mentoring sales professionals and fostering an inclusive team culture.
• Energetic and enthusiastic presence during long workdays.
• Proficient with internet inquiries and phone-based lead handling.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement customer enthusiasm and owner loyalty strategies.
• Manage sales department profitably.
• Manage relationships with internal departments and external resources.
• Prepare for and conduct departmental meetings to convey information.
• Set the vision and philosophy for departmental operations to foster and support dealership customer satisfaction objectives.
• Manage new and used vehicle inventory.
• Maintain internal control over inventory to prevent theft, vandalism, and lot damage.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Contribute to a cohesive dealership team atmosphere, working toward identified dealership goals.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of managing a successful high-volume import showroom and leading a talented sales team. This individual will become proficient in driving an efficient omnichannel customer experience through our all-new, cutting-edge EXPRESSWAY sales process, and will have a thorough understanding of digital commerce and supporting technologies. Additionally, a strong focus on delivering outstanding customer care is critical in this role.
