The Boeing Company in St. Charles, Missouri is seeking a General Repair Technician (Level C) to join the CMS Section Assembly team.

You will test, troubleshoot, and repair Harpoon and SLAM electronic components, maintain equipment, and train less experienced technicians in a fast-paced defense environment. Applicants must obtain a US Security Clearance and have experience with fault diagnosis, soldering, and reading schematics.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fault diagnosis, repair, and calibration of electronic equipment.
  • Experience in fault diagnosis, repair and calibration of complex automatic test stations.
  • Experience performing soldering and electronics repair to the component level.
  • Experience managing test assets and calibrated equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret system prints and schematics.
  • Experience troubleshooting fault isolate complex electronics systems.
  • Experience in Electronics Packaging, Sensor Integration and Block Diagrams and Schematics.

Job description

General Repair Technician (Level C). Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a General Repair Technician (Level C) to join the CMS Section Assembly team in St. Charles, Missouri. In this position, the technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repair of Harpoon and SLAM electronic components.

Position Responsibilities
  • Maintains equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
  • Experience in fault diagnosis, repair, and/or calibration of electronic equipment
  • Experience in fault diagnosis, repair and calibration of complex automatic test stations
  • Experience performing soldering and electronics repair to the component level
  • Experience managing test assets and/or calibrated equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret system prints and schematics
  • Experience troubleshooting fault isolate complex electronics systems
  • Experience in Electronics Packaging, Sensor Integration and Block Diagrams and Schematics
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
  • Ability to coordinate calibration equipment maintainability
  • 1+ years’ experience with Radar Operation and Radar Repair
  • Experience operating navigation/radar systems and electro-optical sensors
  • Experience in aerospace industry
