The Boeing Company in Heath, Ohio is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and sustain electrical, electronic, and electro‑mechanical products and test software for military programs.

You will join small agile teams, contribute to automated test equipment, and advance data processing, control algorithms, and debugging capabilities. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

  • 1+ years of programming experience.

Associate Software Engineer Company: The Boeing Company

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Software Engineer to support the Guidance Repair Center in Heath, OH. This engineering position will be responsible for the design, development, test, and sustainment of electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical products and test equipment/software in support of the U.S. Strategic Deterrence Systems (U.S. Air Force Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, U.S. Air Force & U.S. Navy Guidance Systems and other military programs). In addition, this role will review test data, direct repairs, develop process improvements, capture process changes, and solve problems with new workloads and part obsolescence.

Position Responsibilities
  • Contributes to development and deployment of automated test equipment for lab and factory automation, including data processing and control algorithm development
  • Works in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills
  • Use your talents to tackle complex problems on a variety of programs
  • Responsible for developing technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings supporting program requirements

Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • 1+ years of programming experience
  • 1+ years’ experience programming in C, C++ or Ada
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience
  • or Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience
  • or 10+ years of related, relevant experience
  • Experience incorporating modifications to legacy test equipment systems that have limited documentation
  • Experience programming in C#
  • Experience with Networking and Database
  • Experience programming in Labview
  • Experience with Microsoft Programming
  • Experience with Data Analytics

Work Location: This position is expected to 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Summary Pay Range: USD $99,450 – $134,550
