Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a contract-to-hire Concrete Mold Production worker in Quakertown, PA. The role demands outdoor work, use of hand and power tools, and lifting heavy materials as part of mold preparation and production tasks.

You will assist with mold preparation, rebar handling, and final mold cleaning. The position requires a strong attendance record and willingness to learn multiple tasks across the facility. This is a fully onsite role with a daytime shift.

Qualifications

• Experience using basic hand tools and power tools in a production or general labor environment.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying and sometimes extreme weather conditions.
• Regularly lift up to 75 pounds and frequently handle materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Comfort with standing and walking for extended periods, bending, stooping, and working in active production areas.
• Ability to read and use tape measures and basic measuring tools accurately.
• Proven attendance record and strong reliability in maintaining consistent work schedules.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities across different areas of the facility.
• Ability to perform general production and general labor tasks safely and efficiently.

Pay: $20/hr

Shift: 1st (7am-330pm) Monday-Friday- Dayshift OT available

Responsibilities

• Prepare molds for concrete drainage systems, septic tanks, wall panels, and related concrete structures.


• Use basic hand and power tools on a regular basis to support mold preparation and concrete production activities.


• Work with rebar, including cutting, positioning, and tying pieces together to meet structural requirements.


• Clean molds thoroughly once the concrete pour process is completed to ensure they are ready for the next production cycle.


• Assist with daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning work areas, organizing materials, and maintaining a safe and orderly production floor.


• Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and other basic measuring tools to ensure accuracy in production.


• Support general production and assembly tasks as needed, including packaging, sorting, and packing finished concrete products.


• Perform basic carpentry-related tasks associated with mold preparation and finishing work.


• Handle physical demands such as standing and walking for extended periods, bending, stooping, and regularly lifting heavy materials.


• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat, while maintaining productivity and safety.


• Follow all safety guidelines and use equipment such as forklifts and grinding tools when trained and authorized.


• Demonstrate reliable attendance and a willingness to learn new tasks and skills throughout the facility.

• Basic carpentry skills related to mold building, finishing, or repairs.


• Exposure to blueprint reading for understanding basic product specifications (if applicable).


• Experience operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment (when properly trained and certified).


• Comfort using grinding tools and other finishing equipment in a production setting.


• Ability to adapt to learning different skills and processes throughout the facility over time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Quakertown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
