Job summary

AmeriTex Pipe & Products in Texas is seeking a capable production assistant to support daily manufacturing operations on site. The role emphasizes strict safety practices, proper PPE use, and adherence to the daily production plan while assisting with concrete finishing when needed.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and prior experience in construction or manufacturing. Training will be provided for equipment operation and maintenance procedures on the production line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in construction or manufacturing desired.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety guidelines and procedures set for this role.
• Always wears the proper PPE and follows the PPE Guidelines.
• Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or toll if he/she has not been trained to operate.
• Follows the production/batch plan according to the daily production plan.
• Uses heavy power manual tools, including a jack hammer.
• Sets and moves steel rings when instructed and as necessary.
• Communicates equipment failure or malfunction to the maintenance team immediately.
• Follows the manufacturing process based on the production line (pipes or boxes).
• Assists with the concrete finishing duties, when necessary, as repairing and patching concrete pipes and boxes.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Department Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or a member of the Management Team.
