Job summary

Tyson Foods in Carthage, MS is seeking entry-level General Production workers to support Fresh Processing lines. The role involves standing 8-10 hours per shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in damp, cold, or hot environments while wearing PPE and following strict safety rules.

Candidates will perform general labor tasks across DSI, Debone, Deli, and Evisceration areas, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and reliable task execution.

JOB DETAILS:

This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any area of the Fresh Processing including the DSI, Debone, Deli lines, and Evisceration.

SUMMARY:

Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions. Must be willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments, and reach above shoulder level.

Be able to stand 8- 10 hours a day on hard surfaces.

Able to perform repetitive motion.

Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.

Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.

ATTENTION:

These positions may involve use of a knife and or scissors to bone out or trim pieces of product or involve the use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines.
