Job summary

Cooper Farms in Van Wert, Ohio is hiring 1st shift General Production team members. The role involves operating and maintaining department equipment, following production, quality and safety guidelines, and collaborating with teammates to keep areas up to standard.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with potential raise to $17.75 after 90 days, plus monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses. Training is provided; benefits include paid vacation, holidays, Same Day Pay, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a cool, damp environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain knowledge of the departmental equipment and operations.
• Follow production/quality/safety guidelines to complete procedures efficiently.
• Work with others to ensure all areas are up to standard and report abnormalities.
• Accurately completing all required paperwork.
