Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Job Description

Introduction

Our client is a veterinary hospital in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This small animal practice offers both primary and urgent care services, providing comprehensive veterinary care in a modern, tech-forward environment.

Working Hours / Rota

The hospital operates daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 365 days a year. The Associate Veterinarian position offers flexibility, with full-time roles typically involving 3–4 shifts per week and a fair rotation of weekends. There are no overnight or on-call duties.

Role Description And Responsibilities

The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for all typical GP duties and responsibilities, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, surgical procedures, and urgent care services. The role is open to experienced veterinarians with 3+ years of practice, with a supportive environment that fosters professional growth.

Practice Details

The hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including a laparoscopic surgery suite, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and AI-assisted medical recordkeeping. Services offered encompass wellness and preventive care, urgent care, emergency care, vaccinations, surgery, dental care, and additional services such as dermatology, behavioral consultations, nutrition advice, and end-of-life care. The facility is designed to provide high-quality care in a compassionate and efficient manner.

Team

The team comprises a group of dedicated veterinary professionals who specialize in providing comprehensive care for pets. The collaborative environment fosters continuous learning and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
