Our client is a veterinary hospital in Westminster, Colorado, seeking a Veterinarian Medical Director to join their team. This small animal practice is part of a well-established pet health and wellness company, offering a collaborative environment focused on providing high-quality veterinary care.

Working Hours / Rota

The position offers a flexible full-time schedule with no on-call, late-night, or overnight shifts, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description And Responsibilities

The Veterinarian Medical Director will be responsible for all typical GP duties and responsibilities, including preventative medicine, wellness care, dentistry, and surgery. Additionally, the role involves leading the veterinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care and client experience, driving continuous improvement in clinical skills, and cultivating a supportive, respectful, and collaborative work culture. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and leadership training available to support professional growth.

Practice Details

The hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including cloud-based practice management software, digital and dental x-ray, Idexx, Butterfly iQ+ handheld ultrasound, Vetology Radiograph Interpretation AI, VMED Vet-Dop2 Doppler Blood Pressure System, and VETSCAN IMAGYST. Services offered encompass routine, diagnostic, and complex procedures, such as radiographs, ultrasounds, dental extractions and prophylaxis, spays/neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals.

Team

The team comprises licensed and trained veterinary technicians and assistants, supported by local medical directors. The hospital fosters a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork, continuous learning, and professional growth

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
