Connectly Recruiting seeks a General Operations Manager in Wytheville, VA to lead branch operations, sales and production for residential construction. The role emphasizes strong leadership, vendor relationships, and process improvements to drive profitability.

The ideal candidate will supervise a team, optimize budget and production workflows, and ensure customer satisfaction while coordinating with corporate leadership on strategic plans.

Responsabilidades

• Review new leads with Sales Team and approve budget.
• Monitor sales pipeline, contracts, starts, warranty and settlements; report to leadership.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring and supervising employees, subs and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and hire subs/suppliers; manage overhead costs and P&L.
• Address customer concerns and communicate resolutions; coordinate production and sales processes.
• Conduct plan reviews, final review meetings and regular project inspections as needed.

Job Description

A National leader in the custom home building industry, is looking for a General Operations Manager in Wytheville, VA

The ideal candidate must possess a strong knowledge of custom residential construction, familiar with production building (multiple homes at one time), hard work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a servant-leader management style.

The candidate will preferable be from/familiar with the Wytheville / Tri-Cities area & knows the local vendors/subs/etc to acclimate more quickly to the operations.

This company is looking for the right person with "positive energy" and strong leadership abilities that will constantly be driving the Production & Sales processes as well as growing the team.

Here is the basic breakdown of their approach to managing all aspects of the branch operations, sales & production for our office clientele & staff.

Overview of Priorities:

• Review new leads with Sales Team
• Review advertising and approve budget
• Updates with Division President weekly
• Review sales pipeline, contracts, Starts, Warranty, Settlements, etc
• Review projections and challenges with managers & Corporate leadership.

• Job inspection when necessary
• Final Review meetings
• Plan reviews
• Recruit/hire/train/mentor/supervise employees, subs and vendors
• Networking expertise
• Negotiate contracts & Hire subs and suppliers
• Review overhead costs and general P&L
• Address customer concerns & Communicate Resolutions

Personal/Family Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary (average ~$125-150k/year DOE) + Bonus'
• Bonus structure based on Branch profit/sales (3% of volume)
