Job summary

Target in our General Merchandise division is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader in-store. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, manage inventory and pricing, and drive sales through effective coaching and task delegation.

You should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, have strong communication skills, and be able to train and supervise hourly team members while upholding safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18 or older.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to lead and coach a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Ensure team members are trained and perform responsibilities consistently.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to meet department and store goals.
• Assist with merchandise stocking, pricing, signing and backroom organization.
• Support guest services and uphold safety and compliance standards.
