Job summary

Target’s General Merchandise Team Leader in Tomball, TX leads hourly teammates to deliver a consistent guest experience, uphold store standards, and drive sales through coaching, delegation, and daily operations.

You will schedule and train teammates, manage replenishment, pricing, signing, and merchandising, and ensure product availability. You’ll monitor performance, enforce safety, and partner with leadership to meet goals while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop team, coach and delegate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments and maintain a welcoming store atmosphere.
• Lead hourly team members, including interviewing, coaching, and performance management.
• Plan and assign daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals and guest needs.
• Oversee replenishment, pricing, signing, merchandising and store cleanliness.
• Ensure product availability, accuracy, and compliance with store policies.
