Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise & Food Sales Executive Team Leader to drive store sales, manage GM and Food & Beverage operations, and lead a team to deliver a guest-first experience. The role emphasizes coaching, workload planning, inventory integrity and promotion execution across the GM areas of the store.

You will develop strategies, oversee staffing and scheduling (including weekends and holidays), and uphold food safety standards to ensure a safe, efficient and welcoming shopping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

• Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Drive total store sales and contribute to profitability.
• Manage Food & Beverage, inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes.
• Lead a team of experts in operations, accuracy and efficiency.
• Enable efficient delivery to our guests by leading pick, pack and ship fulfillment work (if applicable).
• Develop workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload and stay guest ready.
• Conduct regular check-ins with your team to ensure task completion and workload balance.
• Oversee GM backroom and sales floor areas, review reports to identify gaps and plan improvements.
• Plan, lead and follow up on organizational and operational changes.
