Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise & Food Sales Executive Team Leader to drive store sales, lead GM and Food team operations, and deliver a guest-obsessed shopping experience. You will manage pricing, inventory, and signing while coaching hourly teammates and leaders to achieve department goals.

Ideal candidates bring a 4-year degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of retail fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and guest-first culture.
• Knowledge of retail business fundamentals including sales trends and promotions.
• Experience setting and planning department workload and leading a team.
• Ability to recruit, select and develop hourly teammates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive total store sales and contribute to department profitability.
• Manage GM and Food & Beverage areas including inventory, pricing and signing.
• Lead a team of hourly teammates and GM Leaders.
• Coordinate workload planning and scheduling to meet guest needs.
• Provide coaching and development to team members.
• Ensure food safety standards and store standards.
• Deliver a guest-obsessed shopping experience.
