Job summary

Target in Greensboro is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to help guests with a friendly, efficient shopping experience. You will greet customers, assist with product location and issues, and support team goals through restocking, merchandising, and sign placement.

This role requires physical tasks such as lifting up to 44 pounds, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and adherence to safety procedures. Training and benefits information are provided during onboarding.

• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other tech.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by greeting guests and assisting them throughout their visit.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End transactions with a sincere thank you and support team members as needed.
• Assist with receiving products, restocking shelves, backroom organization, merchandising setup, pricing, and placing promotional signs.
• Operate power equipment if certified to move merchandise or fixtures.
• Learn and follow operational procedures and maintain product availability and accuracy.
• Follow all Target policies and safety procedures and report hazards.
• Support guest services and digital fulfillment activities as needed, including pickup orders.
