Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to help deliver an easy, inspiring guest experience and maintain product availability across the store. You will greet guests, assist with finding items, and support daily operations from restocking to signage, while upholding safety guidelines.

We value teamwork, flexibility, and a guest-first approach. This role may require nights, weekends, and holidays, with training provided to develop skills and advance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments
• Greet guests and assist them to locate products or resolve issues
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and help peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Assist with receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, merchandising setup and maintenance, pricing activities and promo signage
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures
• Learn and follow operational procedures to manage stock levels and maintain sales floor areas
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes while complying with laws
