Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to create an easy, inspiring guest experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet guests, help them find items, and support team members while maintaining a positive, guest-first culture.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays and may involve operating scanners and occasional power equipment. Applicants should be comfortable with stock replenishment, pricing tasks, and multi-tasking to meet store goals

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests and assist with finding products or resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Follow operational procedures for setting up merchandise, stock levels, pricing, and backroom organization.
• Handle cash register operations as needed and assist with back-up cashier duties.
