Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to support guest experience in a fast-paced store environment. You will greet customers, help locate products, restock shelves, and assist with pricing and signage while maintaining safety and store standards.

The role requires a welcoming attitude, comfort with handheld scanners and multiple devices, and the ability to work independently or with a team in varying shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft with a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and maintain a positive attitude.
• Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while following safety and store policies.
• Execute daily tasks like receiving products, restocking shelves, pricing and signage.
