Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked and ready for customers. You will move products to correct shelves, handle back-room backstock, and support a clean, safe store environment with friendly customer interactions.

Overnight shifts help prepare the store for the day ahead, and involvement in various retail tasks supports merchandising and operations. This entry-level role emphasizes teamwork, basic technology use, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs,

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Able to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
