Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and customers served with a friendly, helpful attitude. You'll handle stocking, backroom duties, and merchandising tasks overnight to prepare the store for the day.

You should enjoy hands-on work, be organized, and comfortable learning basic technology. Physical tasks up to 50 lbs are expected, and experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of grocery products.

• Work overnight shifts to prep the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
