Qualifications

  • Background in capital equipment, industrial technology, laboratory equipment, or engineered products business.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and improving profitability in complex B2B environments.
  • Experience with full business oversight, including commercial operations, finance, people leadership, and customer support.
  • Strong understanding of structured sales processes, forecasting, CRM systems, and operational performance metrics.
  • Experience working within a global or matrixed organization, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Identify strategic market opportunities, partnerships, and expansion initiatives through competitive and market analysis.
  • Serve as the senior representative of the business with customers, partners, and global leadership.

Our client is seeking a commercially driven and operationally capable General Manager to lead its U.S. business through its next phase of growth and organizational development. This executive will hold full P&L responsibility for the business performance across sales, service, operations coordination, finance, and people leadership, while aligning the U.S. organization with global strategic priorities. The role is central to accelerating revenue growth, strengthening internal processes, and building a scalable platform for long-term expansion.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished senior leader with experience managing a U.S.-based industrial or capital equipment business in a technically driven market. Success in this role will require strong commercial instincts, disciplined execution, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through change. Candidates should be comfortable operating in an international environment, partnering with global stakeholders, and balancing strategic vision with hands-on leadership.
