This individual will be the cultural cornerstone of the organization — a leader of extraordinary presence, emotional intelligence, and business acumen who can inspire teams, cultivate client trust, and navigate a complex global matrix with diplomacy and resolve. For the right leader, this role offers the rare combination of entrepreneurial autonomy and the backing of a well-established international enterprise.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual and multi-year strategic plans aligned with global corporate objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end operations including engineering, project management, procurement, production, and service delivery.
  • Drive regional sales strategy across the US, Canada, and Mexico, serving as the senior commercial ambassador.
  • Engage directly with strategic clients to strengthen relationships and expand market presence.
  • Champion cross‑functional collaboration between engineering, operations, and sales teams.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including adjacent industrial sectors.
  • Serve as the financial interface between the regional operation and global headquarters, ensuring transparency in planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Drive profitability through disciplined cost management and strategic investment decisions.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing leadership team, establishing KPIs and accountability structures.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
  • Implement and continuously improve operational workflows, processes, and systems including ERP adoption.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, labor, and governance standards.
  • Represent the organization in global leadership meetings and reporting cadences.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with international headquarters and global partners through regular travel and communication.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role within industrial engineering, environmental technology, or a related sector.
  • Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams and delivering operational and financial results.
  • Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and operational discipline.

  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally (approximately 25–40%), including visits to North American and European locations.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with ERP system implementation and change management.
  • Experience managing within a global matrix organization with international headquarters.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Competencies
  • Executive presence and the ability to command trust and respect across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy in leadership style.
  • Strategic vision balanced with practical, hands‑on operational focus.
  • Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Diplomatic acumen in navigating cultural and organizational complexity.
  • Coaching and talent development orientation.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic, evolving business environment.
