Job summary

The World Equestrian Center in Ocala is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for Genievieve’s, an upscale Italian dining experience. You will lead daily operations, deliver world-class service, and drive guest satisfaction while maintaining high culinary standards.

You will manage financial performance, staff schedules and payroll, mentor front-of-house talent, and oversee wine program development. This role requires strong leadership and a passion for exceptional dining experiences, including

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in upscale food & beverage management, specializing in Italian cuisine.
• Strong communication skills with guests, staff and management.
• Experience planning private dining events, wine dinners, and catering.
• ServSafe Certification and Alcohol Compliance Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and anticipate guests' needs to drive repeat visits.
• Foster VIP guest relations and provide personalized wine & Italian recommendations.
• Oversee financial performance including beverage, labor, and supply costs within budgets.
• Schedule front-of-house staff and manage payroll with accuracy and compliance.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff; promote Italian cuisine knowledge and high-end service.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance across the operation.
• Plan and execute events highlighting Italian cuisine and wine programs.
