Job summary

Jimmy John's in Minnesota is seeking a General Manager to oversee all in-store operations, including staffing, food safety, inventory/COGS, and cash handling. The role requires strong leadership to ensure the store remains in excellent order and that employees perform duties efficiently with integrity.

This is a bonus-eligible position, with requirements including a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and certification in Jimmy John Manager and ServSafe Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 30–40 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop during shifts.
• Able to maneuver in walk-in refrigerator/freezer (40°F to -10°F).
• Work 40+ hours per week.
• Jimmy John Manager Certification required.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required.
• Basic knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook/Adobe Acrobat.
• Capable of training all roles (Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper, Delivery Driver).
• Manage fast-paced, high-stress situations; prioritize with minimal supervision.
• Willing to coach and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-store operations including staffing/scheduling, food safety, inventory/COGS, cash handling and brand compliance.
• Ensure store is well organized and employees execute duties with integrity.
• Lead with strong leadership, implement systems and procedures consistently.
