Job Description
As a General Manager, you will plan, manage, and guide contracted services for multiple sites for a client or multiple clients, typically generating $2-15M+ in revenue, to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.

Depending on the client(s), services can include food service, facility support, custodial services, retail, lodging, transportation, and more. Our General Managers are capable operations managers who lead a team to provide excellent service to our clients. With knowledge of the client’s business, positive relationship-building skills, financial savvy, and a focus on safety, our team makes a difference every day.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services and manage hands-on operational execution.
  2. Manage client and community relationships, continually assess operations, and develop plans to optimize service and satisfaction.
  3. Build, develop, and lead a management team and staff capable of achieving organizational objectives.
  4. Recommend methods, resources, and implementation strategies for service improvement and growth based on operational needs and contractual obligations.
  5. Partner with Finance to manage budgets and design improvements for financial and operational performance.
  6. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and maintain records and reports.
  7. Uphold Aramark’s standards of operation, including safety standards and the Business Conduct Policy.

Qualifications

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
  • Strong focus on client and customer service, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for communication with clients, management, and staff.
  • Ability to understand and implement contractual requirements and identify operational opportunities.
  • Experience in the service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
  • Proven leadership experience with managers.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial controls, and analysis.
  • Experience in developing product sales strategies and operational initiatives.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
