The Villaire (JACS) Organization, which owns 14 McDonald’s restaurants in Northern and southeastern Michigan, is seeking a General Manager. The GM will lead a high-volume restaurant to profitability while upholding McDonald’s Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.

This role partners with leaders to plan goals and develop a capable, engaged team. Ideal candidates have at least two years of GM experience, preferably in quick service or hospitality, are 18+, and can pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years General Manager experience in high-volume locations.
• Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail strongly desired.
• You must be 18 years or older and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Department Managers to set and achieve goals and coach performance.
• Collaborate with leaders to plan restaurant goals and required actions.
• Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong future team.
• Drive profitability and maintain McDonald's Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.

These standards are high, so this is a big job!! The General Manager works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals.

Starting at $45,000-$60,000 a year Requirements The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is a big job!! The General Manager works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals.

To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager doesn’t work alone. He or she leads a team of Department Managers that has specific responsibilities in the restaurant. This means helping the Department Managers to set their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their Departments. By improving the Departments, the restaurant improves!!

The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to make sure that the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.

Ideal candidates should submit a resume and have a minimum of two years previous General Manager (Store Manager) experience running high volume locations. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. You must be 18 years or older and pass a background check to be a manager in our franchisee owned and operated restaurants.
