We are looking for a General Manager (GM) who is people-centric and eager to be part of a growing brand. As a GM, you will:
- Build a great restaurant culture
- Embed P. Terry's in the community through strong crew member and guest relationships and local restaurant marketing
- Build strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring managers and crew members
- Consistently train and develop crew members and managers
- Verify training standards are maintained
- Direct the management team, including setting weekly schedules and assigning responsibilities
- Ensure successful and profitable restaurant operations
- Support initiatives that increase sales, profitability, and store performance
- Oversee weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and budgets
- Manage weekly and monthly P&L statements
- Ensure cash handling policies and procedures are followed
- Oversee restaurant cleanliness and preventative maintenance
- Practice safe food handling procedures
- Act as primary liaison with vendors and HQ contacts
- Attend weekly and quarterly meetings
Requirements for a General Manager:
- 2-3 years of GM experience
- Experience in a drive-thru environment is a bonus
- Motivated and thrive in high-energy, high-volume settings
- Hands-on leader capable of managing both BOH and FOH
- Positive, competitive outlook with a 'Yes' mindset
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to work up to 10-hour shifts, stand for long periods, and walk extensively
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects at various heights
