Job summary

Massanutten Resort is seeking a General Manager for Virginia BBQ & Pizza Co. to lead a high-volume restaurant at our resort. You will oversee all dining operations, drive guest satisfaction, and develop a 20+ person team to deliver exceptional food and experiences.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in restaurant management, strong financial and operational skills, and flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Proven leadership in a high-volume or quick-service environment.
• Strong operational, financial, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Leading daily operations across dine-in, counter service, and takeout.
• Driving guest satisfaction through quality, speed, and service excellence.
• Hiring, training, coaching, and developing a team of 20+ associates.
• Managing labor, scheduling, inventory, and cost controls.
• Monitoring financial performance (revenue, labor, and food cost).
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Virginia ABC laws.
• Resolving guest concerns and fostering a culture of hospitality.
• Collaborating with resort leadership to enhance the overall guest experience.
