Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the premium boatbuilding business in Perry, Florida. You will oversee fiberglass and composite production, quality control, and financial performance while driving commercial growth.

This hands-on leadership role expands dealer and broker relationships, grows sales to high-net-worth buyers, and ensures timely delivery of custom boats. Travel to the Perry facility is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience manufacturing premium fiberglass or composite boats.
• Strong technical knowledge of boat construction and marine production processes.
• Proven success selling high-end boats to affluent buyers.
• Experience leading boat manufacturing operations and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations from laminating to final delivery.
• Lead and mentor an experienced boatbuilding team while maintaining craftsmanship.
• Develop relationships with marine brokers, dealers, and clients to drive sales.
• Expand dealer and broker networks domestically and internationally.
• Represent the business at boat shows and client meetings.
• Manage production schedules, labor, inventory, and costs to improve profitability.
• Set performance standards for production output and financial results.
• Oversee contracts, specifications, and order fulfillment.
• Monitor financial performance and identify margin improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with ownership on growth initiatives and product expansion.
• Balance increasing demand with capacity to maintain quality and on-time delivery.
